The list of vitally important medicines in 2012 is published

The Russian Ministry of health protection and social development published the draft list of vitally important medicines in 2012 for wide public discussion. Since 2010 the prices for the medicines, found in such list, are regulated by the state.

The State Tariff Committee RB reports the draft list includes 563 positions, including 94, produced only Russian manufacturers (16,7%), 202 positions (35,9%) are produced only by foreigners and 267 medicines (47,4%) are produced both in Russia and abroad.

The draft list can be found on the site of the Ministry of health protection and social development of Russia www.minzdravsoc.ru.
