Bashkortostan is called a region, attractive for tourists

Bashkortostan stands in the Top 3 of the regions, which citizens of Volga federal district would like to visit in the nearest future as tourists. These are the results of the voting, held on the site www.kurortrussia.ru during two months within the frames of the preparations for the festival – presentation of tourist resources “Discover Volga Zone”.

The state business undertakings and tourism committee RB reports for the last week Bashkortostan headed the list, leaving Perm region and Tatarstan behind. Udmurtia encloses the list, consisting of 14 regions in Volga federal district.

The festival “Discover Volga Zone” will be held in Nizhniy Novgorod on October 17-19 and assistance to development of tourism on the territory of all regions in Volga federal district and consolidation of interregional tourist relations are its main goals.

Several contests, aimed at advancement of tourist resources in Volga federal district will take place within the frames of the forum and the state business undertakings and tourism committee RB invites all journalists to take part in the contest of photo- and video materials and publications about tourism in our Republic.

All works and applications for participation in the contest are accepted till October 7 to the e-mail of the festival’s directorate. More detailed information can be found on the festival’s site www.open-volga.ru.
