The program for social tourism started in Bashkortostan

The Republican program for development of social tourism, approved by the Government RB on April 29, 2011, started in Bashkortostan.

The state business undertakings and tourism committee RB reports the program is approved and its financing will amount to 36,9 million rubles in 2011. It is expected that at least three thousand pensioners and invalids – citizens of Bashkortostan – may use this program till the end of the year.

The program presumes that pensioners and people with disabilities receive 70%-discount of the cost of the tourist vouchers at the expense of the budget means but not more than 11 thousand 100 rubles per one voucher.

The citizens, registered and living on the territory of Bashkortostan: men at the age of 60 and more and women at the age of 55 and more, having the right for the labor pension in accordance with the federal law “Labor pensions in Russian Federation” and the citizens, admitted the people with disabilities in accordance with the federal law “Social protection of people with disabilities” may become the participants of the program.
