Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” won high recognition at the book exhibition-fair in Moscow

The Bashkir publishing house “KITAP” by Zainab Biisheva has taken part in the 24th Moscow international book exhibition-fair, held on the territory of the all-Russian Exhibition Center on September 7-12.

“KITAP” introduced wide assortment of children’s and semipopular books in public, for example, the “Fairy Tales”, the photo-album about life of Akhmet-Zaki Validi, the picturesque edition “Bashkir Cookery” etc. For active participation in work of the Book Publishers Association the Bashkir publishing house was rewarded with the honorable diploma of this Association.

It should be noted that representatives of 57 countries have taken part in this biggest book forum in Russia. More than 1500 participants have been registered in a whole. Strengthening and widening of cultural and business international relations, determination of ways and conditions for export, import, mutual translations of literary novelties, popularization and promotion of the best foreign editions in Russia and Russian authors abroad – these are the key aims of this traditional book fair.
