A new production object at UMPO has passed state expertise

The project of JSC “Ufa Engine Plant” (UMPO) for reconstruction of production of the turbine rotors and the engine compressor has successfully passed the state expertise.

The inclusion of the project into the federal goal-oriented program “Development of the defense-industrial complex of Russian Federation in 2011-2015 and for the period till 2020” became the next step. The financing of the project at the rate of 3 billion 691 million rubles is scheduled on 2012-2018.

Within the frames of the project the whole complex for production of the turbine rotors and the compressor is organized by UMPO. The work according to the scheme “From detail to final product” will be launched on the territory about 100 thousand square meters.

“The assembly shops, the shops of vacuum engineering and FPI-control are already working” – the head of UMPO corporate communications department Irina Gurianova reports.

Thereby processing and assembly of the joints in the staff of the turbine rotors and the compressor will be concentrated in one division.
