More than 148 thousand unemployed are registered in Bashkortostan

Since the beginning of the year about 245 thousand people turned to the Bashkir Employment Agency. Almost 90 thousand were seeking jobs. About 63 thousand people, coming to the Agency, were employed.

At present time the database of the vacancies in the State Population Employment Service Dept includes almost 36 thousand free vacancies. At the same time there are more than 30 thousand officially registered unemployed people in the region. The coefficient of intenseness (the ration between the number of unemployed and the number of vacancies) is equal to 0,9 in Bashkortostan. The level of registered unemployment in the Republic still makes up 1,5%.

At the same time according to the data of the last examination on the employment problems in May-July 2011 there are more than 48 thousand unemployed in the region. The overall level of unemployment is equal almost to 7%. The economically active population RB amounts to more than 2 million 140 thousand people.
