50 family milk farms will be opened in Bashkiria this year

At least 50 family milk farms will be opened in Bashkiria in 2011, the Ministry of agriculture RB reports. Realization of the program “Development of family milk cattle-breeding farms in 2011-2013” started in the region. The Ministry reports the Republican authority intends to spend about 300 million rubles for that.

The owners of the milk farms may figure on the subsidized credits of “ROSSELKHOZBANK” for the term of eight years under 13% of interest per annum. The Republican budget will allocate the subsidies for acquisition of equipment and cattle.

Besides, the expenses of the farmers for civil engineering infrastructure will be compensated. The municipal districts have to co-finance these expenses on the basis of at least 150 thousand rubles for one object. The districts have also to provide either the municipal guarantees or collateral security.
