UMPO presented two nano-projects at the Congress of nanotechnologies in Ufa

The “round table” to the subject “Establishment and prospects in development of the Republican nano-center” has taken place within the frames of the Congress of nanotechnologies in Ufa and employees of JSC “Ufa Engine Plant” (UMPO) participated in it. The plant introduced two projects to the participants of the forum: “Establishment of the specialized center for gumming (technological advance – nano-coatings) and “Modernization of the existing and opening of a new production for manufacturing of the most important joints for the gas-turbine machinery of a new generation on the base of the methods, providing nanostructural state of materials and complex high-precision shaping (technological advance – spacious materials).

The UMPO press-service reports the first project, approved by “ROSNANO” in 2009”, is concerned with designing and introduction of the coatings for protection of high-loaded details in extreme conditions. The second project, which already passed the scientific-technical expertise by “ROSNANO”, presumes production of wares and billets with the use of spacious materials. The experimental models are already produced and the scientific-research works are going on.
