A new steam-gas unit to be launched at Ufa heat station-2

The new steam-gas unit at the Ufa heat station-2 will be launched in Ufa on August 29. Modernization of the biggest heating plant in Bashkortostan started in 2009.

The press-service of JSC “BASHKIRENERGO” reports as a result of the works for modernization the electrical capacity of the heat station increased by 48 megawatt, practically reaching 0,5 gigawatt, and the heat capacity increased by 30 gig-calories, making up 1478 gig-calories/hour.

The new unit raises the energy efficiency of the Ufa heat station-2, increasing the reliability of supply of the citizens and industrial consumers in Ufa with electric and heat energy.
