The gross grain yield in Bashkortostan exceeds 1,6 million tons

On August 24 the Bashkir grain-growers overstepped one more harvest frontier. Grain crops are mowed on the half of territories, i.e. on 820 thousand hectares. The Ministry of agriculture RB reports grain crops are thrashed on 776 thousand hectares – 47% of the plan. The gross grain yield already exceeds 1,6 million tons and the average crop capacity makes up 20,9 centners from one hectare.
