The Congress of nanotechnologies is declared open in Ufa

The II Congress of nanotechnologies is opened in Ufa today. It is held in the Congress-Hall, where 200 scientists and employers from different countries, engaged in spacious nanostructural materials, gathered. The forum is initiated by the Government RB, the Ministry of industry and innovational policy RB, the Trade-Industry Chamber RB, the Academy of Sciences RB and by the Ufa State Aviation Technical University.

The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, the director of scientific-technical expertise dept, a trustee of JSC “ROSNANO” Sergey Kaluzny, scientists, representatives of ministries and agencies and heads of big industrial companies are taking part in the Congress of nanotechnologies.

The list of foreign scientific activists includes scientists from Germany, the USA, the Great Britain, Japan, China, Austria, Turkey, South Korea, Czechia, Iran, Ukraine and many other countries.

As the news agency “Bashinform” reported earlier, the II specialized high-tech exhibition and the III international symposium “Spacious nanostructural materials: from science to innovations BNM-2011” will be held within the frames of the congress.

Six “round tables” will cover all directions in commercialization of spacious nanostructural materials, including the prospects on establishment and development of the Republican nano-center. The problems of the use of nano-titanium in medicine and such themes as “Computer modelling – the analysis of texture and X-ray researches”, “Nano- and micro-optic-electronic signal converters – obtaining and investigation of electronic properties of nano-films” are also interesting and have high practical significance.

The peculiarities of diffusion of the atoms in spacious nanostructural materials and accompanying unique properties will be considered in the course of the two-day Russian-French seminar.

Besides, the informational seminar “Commercialization of high technologies” will take place under the aegis of JSC “ROSNANO” and its goal is explanation of the principles of work of JSC “ROSNANO” and the procedures for submitting the applications for co-funding of innovational projects.

The Congress’s program is meant for three days.
