KUMAPP presented two new helicopters at “Max-2011”

The X international aviation-space show “MAX-2011” in the town of Zhukovsky near Moscow has become the site for demonstration of innovational designs and promising wares of aviation-space industry. According to specified data more than 800 companies from 40 countries have taken part in the show. 241 aircrafts have been presented there, including the new helicopters, demonstrated by JSC “KUMERTAUSSKOE aviation production enterprise” (KUMAPP).

The Trade-Industry Chamber RB reports at the show KUMAPP demonstrated the light multi-purpose helicopter KA-226T with two gas-turbine engines “Allison 250-C20R/2 Rolls-Royce” with the maximal takeoff weight 3,4 tons. The helicopter is meant for transportation of seven passengers and cargo (up to 1046 kg), for patrol, monitoring and other special aims. Besides, the company presented the medium-dimension helicopter KA-32A11BC with wide range of application.
