The index of industrial production in Ufa is 109%

The index of industrial production in Ufa for the first seven months 2011 made up 109% and the commodity output – more than 120% as compared with the same period of time in 2010, the head of Ufa administration Paul Kachkaev reported today.

Stable economic upsurge is observed in Ufa practically in all spheres and the index of industrial production is lower than 100% only in three branches. At that the situation is the worst with production of rubber and plastic wares. Here the index of industrial production is found approximately on the level of 75% and the situation will hardly be changed till the end of the year.

Paul Kachkaev also told about situation in the labor market. According to him this situation changed for the better. For one year the unemployment in Ufa dropped by 13%. At the same time the arrears of wages are still the problem for the city. According to the official data these arrears reach 19,7 million rubles now.
