The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has become acquainted with the US technology of cattle breeding, applied by the company “Genetics Center Angus” in Kaluga region. He was accompanied by the Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov, as the public affairs service of the President RB reported.

The center was established in 2008. The pedigree cattle-breeding is its main specialization. With this purpose heifers and bulls of the American breed “Angus” were imported here. At present time more than four thousand heads of cattle are kept in three farms with the total area about 20 thousand hectares. The whole work cycle, including technical equipping, the principles of cattle care and organization of work are made per sample of successful American farmings. The enterprise is a member of the American Angus Association (all animals are included into the pedigree register of the Association).
