Former unemployed in Bashkir trans-Ural zone prefer to be engaged in cattle-breeding and bee-keeping

Development of self-employment among unemployed citizens of Bashkortostan is considered one of the main goals of the Republican program for lowering the intenseness in the labor market and more than 60% of the finances, meant for this program, have to be used for that.

For today the employment centers in towns and regions RB have already held about 300 meetings of the commissions for consideration of the business-plans, offered by the unemployed people. 1255 contracts on assistance to development of small business undertakings and self-employment have been signed with such citizens and the overall sum of the contracts concluded is 119,5 million rubles. Thanks to that more than two thousand new workplaces in sphere of small business can be opened in Bashkortostan.

As the head of the State Employment Service RB Timirkhan Bikkinin, who took part in the field governmental gathering, held in Zianchurinsky region of Bashkortostan, reported, 26,6 million rubles was allocated for assistance to self-employment of the unemployed citizens in trans-Ural zone – 13% of the overall financing in the Republic. As a result, more than 450 new workplaces should be opened here. At the same time slightly more than 200 are opened now. Cattle-breeding and bee-keeping are the main occupations on the territory of Bashkir trans-Ural zone.
