Tax-payers in Bashkortostan prefer to learn their debts with the help of SMS

The phone service of the Federal Tax Dept in Bashkortostan is very popular among citizens. A tax-payer may learn his debts with the help of SMS. For that it is enough to send one’s individual tax-payer’s number to the phone number 8-937-333-1233 and wait for the answer, coming back in a couple of minutes.

“From the beginning of the year we received 12700 SMS-inquiries with 12-digit individual tax-payer’s numbers. In response the tax-payers received 19400 SMS with the information about their tax debts or with the information about their absence. The overall amount to be paid made up 14,9 million rubles” – the press-service of the Federal Tax Service in Republic of Bashkortostan reports. The information about debts is free and citizens pay only for SMS according to the tariffs of their providers.
