A work meeting of the prime-ministers of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan has taken place in Ufa

The Prime-Minister of the Tatarstan’s Government Ildar Khalikov arrived in Ufa with familiarization visit on July 1. He was received by the Prime-Minister of the Government RB Azamat Ilimbetov in the House of the Government RB.

A wide range of questions in sphere of economic and cultural cooperation between our two neighboring republics was under discussion in the course of the negotiations.

“The international summit of Islamic business and finances has taken place in Kazan last week and that time I was invited by Azamat Ilimbetov to pay a visit to Ufa” – Ildar Khalikov reported – “These visits witness first of all that our brotherly republics have many common points not just in sphere of cultural heritage but in the prospects of the economic interaction. Bashkortostan is traditionally famous for its powerful oil-chemical complex and was always the leader in this sphere. At present time Kazan is ready to develop cooperation with Ufa in all directions”.

“The friendliest bonds tie our republics” – Azamat Ilimbetov said – “But we have to develop our cooperation not just in the oil-chemical industry but also in machine-building and agriculture”.

In the course of the visit the Prime-Minister of Tatarstan has visited local industrial objects and places of interest in Ufa, as the press-service of the Government RB reported.
