The delegation of Japan business community has visited Ufa plant "Witzenmann-Russia"

The delegation of Japan business community visited today the plant located in Ufa — "Joint Venture Witzenmann-Russia". This joint Bashkir-German enterprise is the candidate for participation in the project of automotive components delivery for Kaluga plant of Mitsubishi Motors.

The main manager of LLC "Joint Venture Witzenmann-Russia" Iliya Kulakov said that the basic production of the enterprise is flexible metal elements intended for motor industry. Manufacture of automotive components makes about 60 percent fr om the general turnover of the company.

The official representative of Bashkortostan Republic in Japan Rishat Mullagildin said that except "Joint Venture Witzenmann-Russia" preliminary selection on delivery of automotive accessories was passed by three more Bashkir enterprises: JSC "BelZAN", Neftekamsk production association "Iskozh" and JSC "Salavatsteklo".

The General Director of the Russian Projects Office of Mitsubishi Motors Corporation Josiya Inamori in conversation with the "Bashinform" agency correspondent said that the first impression of the plant visiting is positive:

— It is obvious that the enterprise is quite serious. However, by results of one visit it is difficult to say something definite. Basically, we consider cooperation possible. While choosing the supplier our company as the basic priority considers quality and cost price.

In the second half of the day the Japanese businessmen will visit Belebey city wh ere the presentation of automotive components with participation of representatives of production association "Iskozh" and JSC "Salavatsteklo" will take place at the "Autonormal" (BelZAN) plant.
