A cooperation agreement is signed between Bashkortostan and Lukoil company at the Petersburg Economic Forum

At the St.-Petersburg International Economic Forum the cooperation agreement between Bashkortostan Republic and "Lukoil" company was signed on June 17. The agreement was signed by the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov and the President of OJSC «Oil company "Lukoil" Vagit Alekperov.

The document is signed for the purpose of the further development and increase of efficiency of republican fuel and energy complex functioning, improvement of financial and economic situation, growth of industrial potential and investment climate of Bashkortostan, steady supply of enterprises, establishments and population of our republic by power resources. Within the limits of the agreement Bashkortostan and "Lukoil" will promote each other in realisation of long-term programs on raw-material base development, development of new oil and gas deposits.

Also the agreement provides participation of "Lukoil" company in realisation of social charitable projects in the territory of Bashkortostan for the purpose of mutually agreed programs.

The agreement is signed for a period of five years, the press-service of the head of our republic informs.
