The gas bus from Bashkortostan successfully debuted in Siberia

"Kamaz" Corporation has presented a new bus NEFAZ-5299-30-31 in Novosibirsk manufactured by Neftekamsk car factory. Municipal authorities conducted tests of this innovation which showed that a product of Neftekamsk car maker, among other things, saved 960 roubles a day. The engine of the Bashkir bus runs on methane which price level in Russia is limited legislatively and cannot exceed 50 % from the cost of gasoline А-80. Possibly, it was this circumstance, that played the main role in the commission conclusion: the bus was recommended to Novosibirsk carriers.

According to the first Vice-mayor of Novosibirsk Andrey Ksenzov a strategic target of Siberia capital is getting rid of the smoky diesel buses which park exceeds today one thousand units.
