Rustem Khamitov: “The forum “Big Chemistry” in Ufa will become annual”

“In a whole the first forum turned to be good unlike the well-known proverb” – the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov said, summing the results of the first international forum “Big Chemistry” up – “This is a new impulse for the branch. We have great potential and much can be done but we have to unite our efforts for that”.

“We’ll make the forum annual” – Rustem Khamitov said – “I hope in 2012 we will discuss already other problems”.

The President RB told that the cluster approach was laid in the base of the strategy for development of the chemical branch. This approach presumes restoration of old contacts between the chemical enterprises and regions, putting the narrow corporate interests aside.

“We will try to unite the whole Volga region into one cluster. It should be a form of cooperation, the interaction between enterprises and all participants of the chemical market. The forum will be aimed at uniting people”.

Rustem Khamitov suggested that the site of the forum, where the specialists can discuss the main problems of the branch, should be opened.

“Bashkortostan is becoming an interesting discussion center, where the experts of different levels gather to make real solutions” – he said.
