The works on establishment of the oil-gas chemistry center are carried on in Salavat

The works on establishment of the new oil-gas chemistry center are carried on in the town of Salavat on the base of JSC “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT”. The center will include the unit for production of ethylene with the capacity 1,4 million tons per year. The General Director of JSC “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT” Damir Shavaleev reported about that at the international forum “Big Chemistry”, opened in Ufa today.

According to him the overall volume of investments for the project can amount to 140 billion rubles.

“The Center will open more than four thousand new workplaces” – he said – “We have the plan. In the nearest two years we intend to modernize the whole infrastructure and will gradually increase the capacities, putting new units into operation. We have everything necessary for work of the center. We received state backing from the Chairman of the Russian Government Vladimir Putin and the decree of the President RB Rustem Khamitov concerning forming of a workgroup, which would coordinate the actions of all parties involved on development of the center, was issued just some days ago”.
