International forum “Big Chemistry" in Ufa is declared open

The first international forum “Big Chemistry” started working in Ufa Congress-Hall on May 26. The Plenipotentiary of the President RF in Volga federal district Gregory Rapota, the President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov, members of the Russian Government, the heads of leading scientific branch structures and the biggest chemical and oil-chemical companies are taking part in the plenary session to the theme “The main directions in development of gas-chemistry in Russia and Bashkortostan”.

The projects of the federal level, called to solve the problem of the branch’s staff and infrastructural provision will become the subject of discussion.

In particular, the matter will be the project on establishment of the biggest in Russia oil-gas-chemical cluster with the construction of the pipeline “Western Siberia-Ural-Volga region”, able to liquidate the shortage of the staff at Ural-Volga enterprises and double the chemical output, thus cutting down the dependence of Russia from import.

Within the frames of the business and technological program the enterprises RB intend to hold presentations of their investment projects, planned to become a reality till 2030; the purveyors of technologies and materials will present the newest achievements in sphere of oil-gas processing and oil-chemistry, demanded by the processing complex of Russia.

The strategic, technological and scientific programs will start working in the second half of the day and will be held at one and the same time and the tendencies in the Russian oil-gas-chemical market and training of specialists for the chemical industry of the country will be under discussion there.

The section work will be continued on May 27 and the agenda will include the discussion of the corporate investment projects in Volga federal district and Bashkortostan, energy efficiency of chemical productions and innovational investment policy in sphere of ecological safety.

On May 28 the excursions to the Ufa industrial enterprises will be organized for the participants of the forum along with the wide cultural program.

The forum is organized by the Government of Bashkortostan, the Ministry of economic development RB, the Trade-Industry Chamber RB and by the Academy of Sciences RB.
