Architects and sculptors of Bashkortostan are invited to the contest “Our Fatherland: new look”

The second all-Russian contest of architectural and sculptural works “Our Fatherland: new look” is going on. The contest is dedicated to modern environment of Russian cities and settlements and to actual problems and prospects of their development. This theme has already received wide response among many Russian creators and, as the contest steering committee reports, 160 architects and sculptors from 43 Russian regions and five foreign states have become its participants for three months. Architects, sculptors, designers, developers, investors and students from the profiled higher and secondary special education institutions of Bashkortostan are welcomed.

The works are accepted from February 1, 2011, and till January 31, 2012. Four themes are offered to the authors: housing, places for work and leisure, environment, spiritual life and memory. The contest consists of two blocks: international and youth. National and honorable architects of the USSR and Russia, national and honorable painters of the USSR and Russia may present their works hors concours.
