500 farms will be put into operation in Bashkortostan for five years according to the special program

“Agriculture is one of our main priorities both for me, as the President, as well as for the Government” – the President RB said, answering the questions of citizens.

“We determined agriculture as one of the points of increase” – the head of the Republic stated – “40% of our population live in the countryside and at the same time the highest unemployment, the heaviest problems with mass drinking and suicides are observed in the villages. We have to provide village people with jobs”.

Rustem Khamitov told about the measures of state backing for agrarians. In particular, he told about some interesting programs for development of farms and private auxiliary farmings. One of such programs is called “500 farms”. It means that 500 farms will be repaired and put into operation in the Republic for five years.

“The program will be formed and we will find the resources for it” – Rustem Khamitov said – “I am sure we will start developing this program beginning from autumn. Now we invited the auditors, which had to estimate the farms and to determine, what farms it would be better to invest first of all”.

The second program is crediting of milk producers.

“Practically this is the first program in Russia, when one billion rubles is allocated for the milk producers under solid governmental guarantees. We will credit private farmings beforehand and will pay for the milk you produce for 60 days ahead” – the President RB reported.
