The program “500 farms for five years” to be launched in Bashkortostan

The program “500 farms for five years” will be launched in Bashkortostan, as the President RB Rustem Khamitov stated at today’s meeting with the veterans.

Rustem Khamitov said the leadership RB would launch several programs on restoration of old farms and the program “500 farms for five years” would be just one of such programs.

“We’ll have an interesting program “500 farms for five years” – Rustem Khamitov reported – “Every year we intend to restore 100 farms – two farms in every region. It will be a big program with the corresponding funding: it will be the resources of such banks as “ROSSELKHOZBANK” and “Russian Savings Bank”. The refinancing rate will be equal to zero because the Ministry of agriculture of Russian Federation takes payment of percents on itself. Besides, our Republic will be the guarantor for attraction of these credits. It will be a big program, worth about 10 billion rubles”.

The President RB said he pinned high hopes on such programs since it was necessary to start opening new workplaces in the countryside.

“Villages are one of the key priorities for us” – Rustem Khamitov stated – “People in our villages have to work somewhere, they start ruining themselves with hard drinking without jobs. This situation looks very alarming”.
