Spring crops are sown on 247 thousand hectares in Bashkortostan
Spring crops are sown on 247 thousand hectares in Bashkortostan – by 8 thousand hectares more than in 2009, the press-service of the Ministry of agriculture RB reports. Chekmagushevsky region RB has sown spring crops on 34% of the pre-planned areas – i.e. more than 20 thousand hectares. The toilers from Sterlitamcsky region have sown spring crops on 14,7 thousand hectares and Kakmaskalinsly region has left 14 thousand hectares behind. The agrarians of Chekmagushevsky region leads on sowing of grain and grain-leguminous cultures – 19,1 thousand hectares. In a whole grain and leguminous cultures are sown on the area 192 thousand hectares – also more than usual.
The sowing of technical cultures runs in parallel and sugar-beet covers already 8419 hectares in 14 regions, Sunflower is sown in 27 regions RB on 18630 hectares.
Rains seriously hamper the work of the grain-growers but taking the last years’ droughts the villagers are practically happy about any rain.
