Bashkortostan intends to develop cooperation with foreign countries

Within the frames of the Russian Federation’s official visit to Denmark the cooperation agreement between Republic of Bashkortostan and the Dutch company “Danfoss A/S” has been signed yesterday. The document is signed by the President RB Rustem Khamitov and by the “Danfoss” executive manager Nils Born.

The agreement presumes cooperation in sphere of energy efficiency and inculcation of energy-saving technologies, as the head of the Presidential Administration external and interregional relations department RB Ruslan Mirsayapov has reported in the TV-program “Nonrandom People” on BST TV-channel.

“Not long ago the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Denmark has visited Bashkortostan” – he said – “And we started actively discussing our possible cooperation in energy sphere that time. We’d like to use their experience and expect substantial savings for the region”.

According to him Denmark is considered one of the most progressive counties in this sphere and the agreement concerning the possibility to open a small “Danfoss” assembling in the Republic is already signed.

Further Ruslan Mirsayapov has indicated further prospects of cooperation with other states.

“Wide presentations of the Republic in Arab Emirates, in the Great Britain and Saudi Arabia are planned in 2011. At the same time the visits of VIP-guests to Bashkortostan are quite often. For example, the visit of the Great Britain’s Consul General is expected soon. The Consul is interested in Republican scientific and industrial potential”.
