Sergey Afonin called the state of roads in Bashkortostan unsatisfactory
The meeting of the state transport and road economy committee RB has taken place on Tuesday, April 26, in Ufa. The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Sergey Afonin, deputies of the State Council-Kurultay-RB and representatives of the branch’s enterprises were present at the gathering.
According to M-r Afonin the economics of the country as well as the economics of Bashkiria, gradually comes back to life after the crisis.
“Business activity and production go up and, as a result, transport services meet higher demand” – he said.
At the same time the Vice-Premier has marked many problems in road economy and transport sphere and called the state of roads in the Republic unsatisfactory.
“Not long ago I was travelling along the highway “Ufa-Orenburg”. I am absolutely dissatisfied with its quality and many other highways don’ look better. I understand that there are certain climatic and other factors, aggravating the situation, nonetheless this state of things demands immediate correction” – he said.
