Anatoly Chubais has visited the Institute of metal superplasticity problems in Ufa

The “ROSNANO” delegation, headed by its President Anatoly Chubais, has visited the Institute of metal superplasticity problems under the Russian Academy of Sciences in Ufa. The director Radik Mylukov has acquainted the guests with the Institute’s activity.

“Our enterprise is engaged in fundamental investigations, aimed at obtaining new knowledge about structure and properties of constructional and functional materials, elaboration and inculcation of resource-saving technologies on manufacturing of wares, made of industrial allows etc” – he said.

As M-r Chibais said, the basic aim of “ROSNANO” is to make the volume of nanoindustry in the country by 2015 on the level of 900 billion rubles.

“We have many serious projects which we finance all over the country” – he mentioned – “We are able to allocate millions dollars for these purposes. The effect of metal superplasticity is of great interest for us but first you have to submit an application together with those specialists, which are able to initiate the production processes”.

The head of “ROSNANO” has examined the Institute’s exhibition and the laboratory of electronic microscopy. Thus, the technology of production of spacious and sheet nanostructural semi-products made of industrial alloys, and details from nanostructural materials and the use of the repair-restorative compositions is one of the most interesting. This technology allows increasing reconditioned life of the mechanisms with the help of nonseparable repair and without stopping the process of exploitation. The expected economic effect from the use of such technology in oil-gas complex and in the adjacent branches can make up about 500 million rubles.

After that Anatoly Chubais has examined the Institute’s innovational center and its newest designs, in particular, the unit for production of the aviation engine’s hollow blades and the reeling machine for production of disks.
