Rustem Khamitov has held a meeting with the representatives of the company “Saint-Gobain”
The President of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov has held an official meeting with the President of the company “Saint-Gobain” in CIS Thierry Fournier.
“The goal of our visit is presentation of our enterprise to the head of the Republic” – Thierry Fournier said – “We are the rightholders of the gypsum deposit in Bashkiria and have some other projects here”.
Construction of the plant for production of gypsum wares is one of such projects. The approximate end of its construction is 2014-2015 and the company intends to invest 80 million euro in this project. The plant’s planned capacity is estimated at 30 million square meters of gypsum plasterboards per year.
“The investment climate and the potential for business development are found on rather high level in Bashkiria today” – Thierry Fournier underscored – “In many respects it happens thanks to support of the Republican leadership so I’m sure in successful development of our project”.
