“ROSNANO” delegation will visit Ufa

The delegation of JSC “ROSNANO expected to arrive in Ufa on April 21-22 and within the frames of this visit Bashkir enterprises and organizations intend to open the special exhibition of their projects at the Ufa State Aviation Technical University. The delegation plans to visit JSC “UMPO”, where the techno-park of aviation technologies works, the company “ECM”, JSC “SALAVATSTEKLO” and the Institute of metal super-plasticity problems under the Russian Academy of Sciences. The meeting re development of nanotechnologies and nano-industry with participation of “ROSNANO” delegation, representatives of legislative and executive power RB, business circles and scientific community will become one of the key events in the visit’s program. In connection with the forthcoming visit the work meeting has taken place in the Ministry of industry and innovational policy RB, headed by the Minister Robert Vagapov. He has reported the cooperation protocol between Bashkiria and “ROSNANO” is to be signed in the course of the visit and this step will contribute to building of the relations between Republican scientists and investors for increasing the number of the projects, sent to “ROSNANO” for consideration. Development of innovational infrastructure in the region, including financial and technological, is the main goal of such cooperation for both parties.

The director of JSC “ROSNANO” for regional policy and interaction with local authorities Dmitry Krinitsky tells about the prospects of cooperation with Bashkortostan:

“As you know, we face the challenge to increase the output of innovational production in Russia to 900 billion rubles annually by 2015 and 300 billion rubles of this sum should be obtained through “ROSNANO”. The corporation builds up systematic relations with the regions and first of all with the regions, where innovational production is more or less well-developed. The availability of scientific-technical base for development of business is the next criterion and activity of local authorities in solution of innovational problems and interest of local business in sphere of production modernization and inculcation of innovational technologies is the third aspect”.

As M-r Krinitsky reports, “ROSNANO” has already determined what regions it is going to cooperate with already now and Bashkortostan is one of such regions. First, Bashkiria demonstrates steady dynamics of innovational reforms and the program of innovational development for the period till 2015 is approved here. Second, here we have the profiled innovational Ministry and certain progress in innovational activity in the Republic is already available. Thus, the unique nanotechnological production by the company “ECM” was launched in Ufa in December 2010. This is the first enterprise in Bashkiria, specializing itself in production of electrochemical lathes of a new generation. The overall project’s budget is 285 million rubles and the share of “ROSNANO” is 120 million. Besides, other seven innovational projects are under development now.

Dmitry Krinitsky has said the Republic possesses the necessary infrastructure for commercialization of innovational projects and this is also a wide step forward. Thus, the center for collective use of high-tech equipment is established at the Ufa State Aviation Technical University as well as the definite cycle – from idea to reality – is present here too.

“We have all grounds to consider the available potential will be substantially strengthened” – M-r Krinitsky said. At that he mentioned the necessity of integration and consolidation of efforts of all interested structures. Now in his opinion the innovational equipment is used in the country just by 5-10%.

“ROSNANO sees interested and well-motivated partner in the person of the leadership RB and the forthcoming visit will be the confirmation of that” – M-r Krinitsky concluded.
