Company “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT” examines prospects on development of low-tonnage chemistry

The company “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT” is ready to develop low-tonnage chemistry in parallel with modernization and construction of large-capacity productions.

The deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB, Minister of economic development RB Vladimir Balabanov has reported about possibilities to open the enterprises for production of low-tonnage chemistry in Bashkiria at the presentation of the Republic in State Duma. As he said, “transformation of Bashkiria to the site for development of the oil-chemical branch will allow changing the structure of the regional economics towards highly remunerative and demanded in the market productions and for that we have to develop such direction as low-tonnage chemistry”.

The General Director of “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT” Damir Shavaleev has confirmed the intentions of the company to open new competitive enterprises, busy with manufacturing of a final product.

“Our company examines the possibility to develop low-tonnage chemistry within the frames of a techno-park. The joint-ventures for production of polymeric pipes, films and packaging, polypropylene packaging and the sheets, made of ordinary and foam polystyrene, will be opened in the nearest future. Within the frames of this project we negotiate with the leading producers of polymeric production” – Damir Shavaleev said.

The pyrolisis unit with the capacity one million tons per year will supply the future enterprises with the stuff. This production will be the basic for the techno-park, established under the JSC “GASPROM NEFTEHIM SALAVAT”. It will give the oil-chemical complex in the town of Salavat a chance to produce about 600 thousand tons of polymers annually.
