Rustem Khamitov: “We can’t do without support of the banks”
The President RB Rustem Khamitov has opened the all-Russian inter-bank conference, held in Ufa now.
“This conference is already the seventh and has already become a memorable event for the whole bank community RB” – the President of Bashkiria welcomed the participants – “The leadership of the Republic supports this good tradition in every way possible”.
Rustem Khamitov has mentioned the Republic has finished 2010 with rather good social-economic indices and we have all prerequisites to consider that 2011 will be even more successful. The role of the bank community in development of the region can hardly be overestimated.
“The bank system is our solid assistant. You have the resources, the understanding of the present situation and good professionals. By the way the bank sphere is one of few branches in Russia, fully supplied with highly qualified specialists” – the head of the Republic has underscored.
He has mentioned that the rise of population’s level of life is possible only with the assistance of the banks: higher salaries, new workplaces and housing.
“Whichever branch we take and whichever direction of our activity we consider – we cannot do without support of the bank community. At the same time you cannot do without us too – without rules, norms and standards” – Rustem Khamitov has mentioned.
The scientific practical inter-bank conference is called “Banks, Processes, Standards, Quality” and elaboration of the proposals on further rise of the bank activity’s quality through correction of already available and inculcation of new standards in activity of the banks is the main goal of this annual forum.
