Ufa holds the second place in Russia on production of trolley-buses

In 2010 Ufa has held the second place among Russian cities by production of trolley-buses. 119 trolley-buses have been produced in Ufa in 2010 – 32% of the overall volume of the trolley-bus production in the country. Before the crisis the Ufa trolley-bus plant produced 125 machines per year on average and this figure was considered a norm.

JSC “Bashkir trolley-bus plant” is busy with manufacturing trolley-buses in the capital of Bashkiria. The enterprise produces four models of these machines and every model has three modifications. The low-floor buses are especially popular. Trolley-buses from Ufa are exploited in more than 50 Russian cities and CIS countries.
