“Russian Post” warns: failures in post communication with Japan are quite possible

The federal state unitary enterprise “Russian Post” informs its clients that because of the emergency situation on the Japanese Islands the failures in post communication with Japan are quite possible. The delays in delivery of international postings, coming both from Japan as well as from the United States and other countries, coming as transit through Tokyo, are probable too.

Besides, according to the official message of the Japanese post the Japanese national provider doesn’t deliver local and international mail to the districts of Hokkaido, Aomori, Akita, Ivate, Miagi, Yamagata, Fukushima and Ibaraki. The “Russian Post” urges Russians to take the abovementioned acts of God into account using the services of the international post communication, including online shopping abroad.
