Bashkiria works over development of regional banks

The President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov held a meeting with the President of the Russian Development Bank Sergey Krukov and the deputy of the Russian State Duma Anatoly Aksakov, where the problems of small and medium business crediting were under discussion. The President RB mentioned the region was found on a new stage of development and the Bashkir authority was interested in cooperation with the Russian Development Bank.

“We have to develop regional banks” – Rustem Khamitov stated.

As the State Duma deputy, the deputy chairman of the economic policy and business undertakings committee Anatoly Aksakov said, Bashkiria possesses very powerful economic potential.

“It is evident that the leadership of Bashkiria finds new ways for solution of different problems” – he said – “You build up efficient relations with the regional banks, actively working in sphere of crediting for small and medium business and this direction is considered one of the prior ones for the Russian Development Bank”

Today certain stagnation in small and medium business crediting is observed and Sergey Krukov says it is necessary to arouse the interest of the Russian business community in small business crediting.

“We present several programs with very attractive terms and low interests” – he explained – “All these steps should spur local business activity up. We also pay serious attention to the programs, meant for development of Russian mono-towns. We’ve discussed many ways of cooperation with the President of Bashkiria and I hope our joint efforts will contribute to development of small and medium business in the Republic”.
