Saratov authorities will pay a visit to Bashkortostan

The delegation of Saratov region, headed by its Governor Paul Ipatov, will arrive in Ufa on a business visit on February 15.

The meeting with the President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov is scheduled on the first half of the day.

The official ceremony of signing the protocol for realization of the Friendship and Cooperation Agreement between Bashkiria and Saratov region in 2011-2012 will take place also today.

Further the guests will become acquainted with the work of the state farm “Alekseevsky” and will visit the Ufa treatment facilities workshop for mechanical sediment dewatering and drying and bio-filtration.

The representative office of Saratov region in Republic of Bashkortostan will be solemnly opened in Ufa late afternoon. It will be located to the address: Ufa Highway, 4, the block N1.

For the reference: The Friendship-Cooperation Agreement between Bashkortostan and Saratov region, signed on January 2003, is considered the legal base of our interregional cooperation.

Saratov region is found on the 15th position among Russian regions by the commodity circulation. Bashkiria exports mainly the technical goods and Saratov region supplies Bashkiria with foods, confectionaries and macaroni and with the consumer technique.

At present time about four thousand Bashkirs compactly live in several settlements of Saratov region.
