VDL delegation visited Neftekamsk motor-car plant

The delegation of the Belgian-Netherlands concern “VDL” has paid a business visit to the Neftekamsk motor-plant (NEFAZ) yesterday. The delegation consisted of the company’s Vice-President Riney Fermelen and the commercial director of “VDL Bus” Hubert Van Vees.

The cooperation of “NEFAZ” with VDL lasts during almost five years and for this time NEFAZ started serially producing the whole series of new bus models: city bus, land cruiser, tourist, 15-meter-long-bus and 18-meter-long jointed bus.

At present time the plant is busy with manufacturing four tourist liners and one jointed bus.

The cooperation with “VDL” isn’t limited just by production of buses. All newest European equipment for the plant is designed and ordered jointly with “VDL” partners. Thus, in 2011 the plant intends to purchase one more laser unit from Germany for metal cutting. These and other problems concerning the prospects of further cooperation were discussed by the delegation of “VDL” and the General Director of the plant Raif Malikov on February 10, the “NEFAZ” press-service reports.
