The index of consumer prices in Bashkiria in January made up 102,3%. This is the information of the Bashkir State Statistics Committee. The average all-Russian index is slightly higher – 102,4%, while in Volga federal district it varies from 101,9% in Mordvinia to 103,2% in Nizhniy Novgorod region.
The statisticians report the food prices went up by 3,2% in January. Comparing with the corresponding period in 2009, the growth made up 15,7%. Non-foods became just by 0,4% more expensive. The cost of public services went up by 4%.
