Bashkir agrarian enterprises have taken part in commodity interventions

The regular grain auction from the Russian intervention fund has taken place on Wednesday, February 9. 37 lots of the fifth class grain, raised in 2008, have been put up for the auction. Every lot contained 135 tons of grain, so-called fodder grain, kept at five Bashkir grain elevators. 11 agricultural enterprises RB are accredited for participation in the grain auctions.

All grain was sold out. The employees of the exchange don’t uncover the information about purchasers. Along with the Republican enterprises the agrarians from Sverdlovsk, Chelyabinsk and Kirov regions have taken part in the grain sales. The auction was held on for trade sites in Nizhniy Novgorod, Samara, Moscow and Yekaterinburg.

It is difficult to say when the next grain auction is to be held. The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev ordered to halt the auctions for a while on Wednesday during the governmental meeting, devoted to prior measures on inflation containment and special attention was paid to the situation in the Russian food market.
