Competitive advantages of Bashkir trans-Ural are determined

Rich natural-resource potential is the main competitive advantage of Bashkir trans-Ural, as it is determined by the SWOT-analysis of social-economic situation in the Bashkir trans-Ural zone.

The press-service of the Government RB reports the trans-Ural territory, enveloping the Magnitogorsk structural zone, is characterized by the unique accumulation of large copper pyrite ore deposits. Scatterings of gold, chromites, manganese ores, zeolites and building stone – for production of high-strength and resistant to acids crushed stone – are discovered here too.

The areas of Bashkir trans-Ural are considered the key mining base and one of the key suppliers of copper pyrite ores for the Russian metallurgical enterprises. 96,9% of non-ferrous metallurgical output of the Republic is manufactured in the trans-Ural zone.

Various natural resources, good for rest and active recreation, as well as specially protected natural territories and the territories, having the environmental status, also belong to the trans-Ural competitive advantages. Here there are plenty of historical-cultural and natural monuments. The number of tourists, registered in Burziansky region, for example, arises every year. In 2010 this number exceeded 27 thousand people.
