Valerie Ochirov: “All means are good for protection”

“Security is the most valuable and the most important aspect in work of airports but the element of carelessness is still present in activity of airport services and as a result we see the cases when criminals bring through everything they want” – the President of the United National Business Aviation Association, the Hero of the Soviet Union Valerie Ochirov said at today’s “Bashinform” press-conference – “Sure, it mustn’t be so and everyone has to fulfill his functions precisely”.

In view of the last act of terror in “Domodedovo”, occurred the day before, Valerie Ochirov has underscored that all means are good for protection, including inculcation of the newest devices, able to X-ray the passengers through, in the airport security systems. Thanks to such devices it becomes impossible to hide anything unlawful.

“The criticism concerning unethical character of using such equipment is irrelevant” – Valerie Ochirov said – “When the matter is security of people, any emotions are absolutely senseless”.
