The concept of stable development of rural territories is approved

The Russian Government approved the Concept of stable development of rural territories for the period till 2020.

Development and accomplishment of villages is one of the most important strategic aims of state policy and its solution will contribute to provision of the country’s food security, the rise of competitive ability of Russian economics and prosperity of Russian citizens.

According to information of the Ministry of agriculture RB stimulation of demographic growth and making favorable conditions for resettlement to the countryside, diversification of rural economics, improvement of villagers’ living conditions and creation of modern social engineering and transport infrastructure are considered the prior directions of the Concept. Special attention is paid to development of alternative employment in the villages, development of small and medium business undertakings and manpower.
