232 Bashkir employers refused to raise the minimal wage level

On January 17 there were 232 refusals of local employers to join the agreement concerning fixing the minimal wage. 229 refusals came fr om the employers, working in sphere of agriculture. The main reasons of the refusals are difficult financial situation in sphere of agriculture, concerned with the drought, the seasonal character of the production and the necessity to pay credits. In the majority of the farmings the average salary in January – October 2010 was 5-8 thousand rubles and there were the farmings, wh ere the average salary didn’t reach 5 thousand rubles. At present time the Minister of labor and population social protection RB holds consultations with the employers, which refused to join the agreement, with participation of the representatives of the Republican three-sided commission on regulation of social-labor relations, the press-service of the Government RB reports.
