The index of consumer prices in Bashkiria is higher than in Russia on average

For the period since the beginning of 2010 the cost-of-living index in Bashkiria made up 108,3%. This is higher than in Russia on average (107,6%). At the same time it has to be mentioned that this index is not the highest. Thus, in Samara region it is equal to 106,8% and in Republic of Mari-Al – 110,0%.

According to information of the Bashkir Statistics Committee the cost of goods and services increased only by 1%, as compared with the previous month, and only the consumer food prices went on growing. As compared with the last year level the index in Bashkiria increased by 8,3% on average. And again statisticians register the most substantial rise of the food prices – by 11,9%.
