Rustem Khamitov demanded to stop timber stealing and to provide population of Bashkiria with timber for its economic needs

The President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov urged to unleash merciless struggle with those, who stole and extirpated Bashkir forests at today’s meeting, devoted to development of timber industry in Bashkiria.

“We receive great number of complaints from population that many citizens fail to receive timber for their economic needs” – the President RB said – “At the same time we are facing the injurious felling of our forests”.

The President RB demanded the Ministry of forestry RB to stop the poaching felling and to break the contracts with those forest tenants, who don’t observe the contractual terms on forest regeneration.

In order to get the things in the branch put in order Rustem Khamitov determined the following main aims: to stop forest stealing, to restore forest regeneration and to provide local population with timber for their economic needs.
