Billions rubles in Bashkiria are earthed because of uncompleted construction

The meeting of the Government RB, held by the President of the Republic Rustem Khamitov, has taken place on Monday.

The question “The measures on reduction of the volumes of the construction in progress at the expense of the budget RB” was the second in the agenda.

At present time the construction of 3200 objects for the overall sum about 17 billion rubles is not yet completed in the Republic. Almost 11 billion rubles are found on the balance of the Republican Capital Construction Dept, which was the main developer for such objects as the Friendship House (the Congress-Hall), the hippodrome “AKBUZAT”, the Ufa’s airport terminal and the railway station of Ufa. These objects are already put into exploitation but still found on the balance of the developer. As a result of such situation the Dept is found on the verge of bankruptcy and finished the year with the negative payment balance at 12 million rubles.

The President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov has stated that billions rubles are simply earthed and in order to solve this problem it will be necessary to allocate 2-5 billion rubles from the Republican budget. The President RB urged the Ministry of economic development RB to find and attract the off-budget means in order to complete the construction objects, still found in progress.
