Elvira Nabiullina: UMPO has all conditions for attraction of investments

The Minister of economic development RF Elvira Nabiullina has paid a visit to JSC “UMPO” to become acquainted with its production potential on Saturday, November 27. She was accompanied by the President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov and the deputy Prime-Minister of the Government RB Uri Pustovgarov.

The Russian Minister has inspected the workshop for aviation engine assembling, the “Techno-park of aviation technologies”, the Engineering Prototyping Center, the test center, the vacuum technique workshop and other plant’s production sites. After the end of the visit Elvira Nabiullina has said: “Sure, UMPO possesses good production potential and all conditions for attraction of investments but in order to improve the local investment climate Bashkiria still faces much work ahead”.

Rustem Khamitov has mentioned the Republican leadership renders real assistance to the enterprise, especially in social sphere – education and housing.

“I think we can jointly achieve that 35% of Russian engines would be manufactured in Ufa”- the President of Bashkiria has stated.
