The composite index of Bashkortostan’s investment attractiveness is lower than the average all-Russian one

The Russian Ministry of regional development published the monthly report about situation in economics, financial and social spheres in the Russian regions in January-September 2010. According to the composite index of social-economic situation in the Russian regions Republic of Bashkortostan is included into the group of 49 Russian regions, where the situation is worse than the average all-Russian level. At the same time according to the composite index of real sector of economics Bashkiria stands in the list of 34 Russian regions, where the situation is better than the average all-Russian one. The next indices took part in calculation of this composite index: the indices of industrial production, agricultural output, rates of electric energy consumption growth, profits of local enterprises, credits, given out to the legal persons, retail trade circulation, the volumes of chargeable services for population and the share of overdue credit indebtedness among legal persons.

By the volume of investments to the fixed capital per capita Bashkiria stands in the group of Russian regions, where the value of this index is minimal. The average all-Russian index is 22,4 thousand rubles per capita and in Bashkortostan it is about 15 thousand rubles.

By the share of profitable enterprises Bashkortostan takes the lead in the country (82,1%), while the average all-Russian index is just 67,7%.

By the composite index of population employment and incomes Bashkortostan is found in the risk group. By the rates of the profit tax intakes the Republic has one of the lowest indices in the country – 90,2% and same index is worse only in Kalmykia (68%) and Sakhalin region (76,3%), while the average index in Russia is equal to 146%.

The President of Bashkiria Rustem Khamitov ordered the Ministry of economic development RB to make a detailed report on all these indices, the press-service of the Government RB reports.
